In 2019 he pitched a documentary to the channel about women’s football and its growth - hoping to debunk a few misogynist myths about the game. He asked the Watford Ladies if he could come down and train with them, and see if a half decent Sunday league footballer could cut it with the ladies. He couldn’t. James Produced, wrote and presented the whole documentary in the spare moments between the normal day making London Live news at 6.
