Working as the lead in production due to his unique skills when it comes to crafting news packages and short documentaries James has had the opportunity to self-shoot, edit and produce 100’s of his own stories. He’s met and interviewed some of the most prestigious names in sport, politics, art, TV and Film, capturing their stories the aim to inform but move people in some way, an ethos he thinks is vital in any video journalism. On the day of The Queen’s death, James was producing the News at 6 programme. Among overseeing that show - he produced and edited this montage in an hour before broadcast, to play before the credits using a wealth of archive.
